Joel (Jim Carrey)is stunned to discover that his girlfriend, Clementine (Kate Winslet), has had their tumultuous relationship erased from her mind. Out of desperation, he contacts the inventor of the process, Dr. Howard Mierzwiak (Tom Wilkinson), to get the same treatment. But as his memories of Clementine begin to fade, Joel suddenly relizes how much he still loves her.

Movies, like books, are a medium for telling stories. Some stories can only be told through film. I enjoy watching movies and learning how they are made, especially my top ten movies.

Premessa, che mi dovrete perdonare, non ho mai sopportato i primi film comici con Carrey, ma da quando ho visto Eternal Sunshine l'ho rivalutato totalmente.
Di questo film adoro la fotografia, e la storia costruita come un maglione ai ferri "un dritto d un rovescio". I personaggi sono inoltre meravigliosi presentati come in tutti i loro lati negativi; ed interpretati benissimo sia da Carrey che dalla Winslet.
