In a remote village in the north of Japan, young warrior Ashitaka is victim of a curse after he kills a god of the forest. He will take a long and dangerous trip to Tatara Ba, to find an antidote. Along the way he will get involved in a bloody battle, and crucial will be the encounter with San, princess Mononoke, a young girl brought up and raised by wolves.
