Potere della pubblicità. Sicuramente non è tra i peggiori film del genere, ma nemmeno tra i miei preferiti, non tradisce le aspettative almeno fino alla fine, quando ripropone palesemente una mossa che il buon Hannibal Lecter fece decisamente meglio e con più stile.

I've been conflicted with this movie for some time now. On one hand, it's an extremely popular horror series and on the other, it totally sucks.

The gore in this movie was decent but rather tame. The thing that really kills this movie is the unbelievable acting. There's a reason we haven't seen Danny Glover in so long... his talent has declined with his age. Cary Elwes??? Granted, his performance was funnier in Saw than Men in Tights... but this is a "Horror" film, right?

There are so many movies that are far more violent, far more mind-bending

When this movie came out I had no interest in seeing it until a friend said that it reminded him of Se7en....so of course I had to see it. After that I had to reevaluate the movie sensibilities of my formerly respected friend. This movie can be equated to Se7en in the way one could equate a Gigli to Gone With The Wind. Awful, awful, awful.
